Weekend Update: February 23-24, 2019

Next week at Maine Crime Writers, there will be posts by Maureen Milliken (Monday), Lea Wait (Tuesday) Jen Blood (Wednesday) John Clark (Thursday), and Kaitlyn Dunnett/Kathy Lynn Emerson (Friday).

In the news department, here’s what’s happening with some of us who blog regularly at Maine Crime Writers:

from Kaitlyn Dunnett: from February 24 until March 3, the ebook of Scotched will be on sale for 99c and on February 27 it will be a BookBub selection. Kilt at the Highland Games and other cozies by Kensington authors are already on sale for 99c until March 3 as part of Kensington’s “Escape the Cold with a Summer Read” promotion. Scotched is the fifth book in the Liss MacCrimmon series set in Moosetookalook, Maine and takes place at a cozy mystery conference held at the local grand hotel. Kilt at the Highland Games is the tenth book in the series and is set at a Scottish festival held on the grounds of that same hotel.

Bruce Robert Coffin: will be at the Billerica Public Library in Billerica, Massachusetts on Thursday, February 28th at 7:00 pm. Bruce will be reading from and speaking about his Agatha nominated novel Beyond the Truth.

    What is Bookbub?

Bookbub.com offers a sort of mailing list that lets readers know when ebooks are on sale and includes reader reviews. It’s good publicity for writers. There’s also an app.
