Kate: I just wanted to share that my maiden name was KOZAK. Grandpa literally came over on the boat and entered through Ellis Island. He and some of the other younger relations got out of Poland just before the invasion that preceded WWI exploded. Tomas never saw his old family members again. He settled in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised his family while laboring in the steel mills on the Cuyahoga River.
