Next week at Maine Crime Writers we’ll be featuring posts from Gerry Boyle (Monday), Kaitlyn Dunnett (Tuesday), Vicki Doudera (Wednesday), Lea Wait (Thursday), and Dorothy Cannell (Friday).
In the news department, here’s what’s happening with some of us who blog regularly at Maine Crime Writers:
From Barb Ross: The large-print edition of Clammed Up comes out this week from Maine’s own Kennebec Large Print–a part of Thorndike/Gale/Cengage.
I love the cover!
From Kate Flora: Barb…I love the cover, too. Between Clammed Up, Stone Cold, and the Crime Bake, you are awfully busy! When does the next book in the series come out?
From Kaitlyn Dunnett: It is a great cover, Barb. Congrats. In my Kaitlyn/Kathy/Kate news, I recently did a phone interview, mostly as Kate Emerson, for the Literary New England Radio Show. It will air tomorrow, October 7, at 8 PM. I don’t have a direct link yet, but you can find it by going to http://www.litnewengland.com/About.html
From John Clark: I’m happy to announce that my short story Dead Letter Office is included in this year’s Level Best Books anthology Stone Cold which will be released at the New England Crime Bake next month. Wait until you see the cover, it’s awesome!
An invitation to readers of this blog: Do you have news relating to Maine, Crime, or Writing? We’d love to hear from you. Just comment below to share.
And a reminder: If your library, school, or organization is looking for a speaker, we are often available to talk about the writing process, research, where we get our ideas, and other mysteries of the business.
Great cover!
Ditto to all on the cover … and congrats to John! I didn’t post this week because I’m editing …. not an exciting topic for an update!
Congrats to John, and to editor Barb, too. And Kate has a story in the anthology, too. I see a future blog here, with the cover for illustration.
