In the news department, here’s what’s happening with some of us who blog regularly at Maine Crime Writers:

from Kathy Lynn Emerson: Until September 30 all my middle grades and YA fiction will be on sale from Overdrive at 50% off. That includes two mysteries, The Mystery of Hilliard’s Castle and The Mystery of the Missing Bagpipes. The other titles are Shalla, Katie’s Way, Julia’s Mending and Someday. All except the last were written for ages 8-12. Someday is a YA for slightly older readers. The same titles will be available from Cloud Library at 30% off from Sept.1-Sept. 30.

This Saturday, August 29th, from 10 AM to 2 PM, the Clinton Library will host a Maine Authors fair at Old Mill Park. Free admission. Food trucks. A chance to buy great books signed by the authors. Come say hi to Matt Cost and Allison Keeton among many other authors.

This Saturday Kate Flora and Maureen Milliken will be at the Designing Women Artisan Market at Longfellow’s Greenhouses in Manchester from 9:30-4:00. Stop by and see us!
