In the news department, here’s what’s happening with some of us who blog regularly at Maine Crime Writers:

Kathy Lynn Emerson: From August 11 until September 30 all my middle grades and YA fiction will be on sale from Overdrive at 50% off. That includes two mysteries, The Mystery of Hilliard’s Castle and The Mystery of the Missing Bagpipes. The other titles are Shalla, Katie’s Way, Julia’s Mending and Someday. All except the last were written for ages 8-12. Someday is a YA for slightly older readers.

Matt Cost will be signing books at Sherman’s of Saco today, Saturday, August 15th from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. In the area? Come on by.

On Thursday, August 20th, at 7 PM, Cost will debut his new podcast with BJ Magnani. It is called Pets, Plots, & Poisons, and that is the focus of the show as related to mysteries. It will be on Big Blend Radio and just about every streaming service you can think of. Check it out HERE.
