In the news department, here’s what’s happening with some of us who blog regularly at Maine Crime Writers:

Kathy Lynn Emerson: From August 11 until September 30 all my middle grades and YA fiction will be on sale from Overdrive at 50% off. That includes two mysteries, The Mystery of Hilliard’s Castle and The Mystery of the Missing Bagpipes. The other titles are Shalla, Katie’s Way, Julia’s Mending and Someday. All except the last were written for ages 8-12. Someday is a YA for slightly older readers.

Matt Cost: Will be signing books at the Sherman’s Books in Boothbay Harbor today, Saturday, August 8, from 1-3 PM.

On August 11th, Cost will be interviewing Travis Kennedy about writing and his debut novel, The Whyte Python World Tour, as part of the Topsham Public Library Author Series at 6 PM.

On Thursday, August 13th, Cost will be participating in Mystery Making Mayhem at the Southport Memorial Library at 6:30 PM along with Kate Flora, Allison Keeton, and Anne Britting-Oleson.
