Matt Cost will interview Jule Selbo about her latest book, 6 Days, on Thursday, July 23rd, at 6 PM, in Topsham, as part of the Topsham Public Library Author Series running this summer.

Matt Cost is also excited to announce that he has been given a new three-book contract from Level Best Books for a series debuting on August 3rd, 2027 with Bob Chicago Investigates, a humorous PI story set in a fictional town in Maine with hints of history and mystery woven throughout.

Dead Men Don’t Kiss, a Cost short that appeared in Celluloid Crimes, was recognized as one of the top 30 short mysteries by The Best Private Eye Stories of 2026. Give Elton Connor a go. I could see him getting his own series at some point.
