by Barb, in Maine at last
It’s Windjammer Days in Boothbay Harbor. My husband, Bill Carito, has gotten deep into iPhone photography, so we took a Balmy Days harbor tour billed especially for photographers. The day was foggy and damp, but you know you’re with a group of photographers when everyone boards the boat, looks up at the sky, and says, “Perfect day!”
Here are some of Bill’s photographs of the day. If you like what you see and want to see more, you can friend him on Facebook here or follow him on Instagram at billcarito (for black and white) and bill.carito.colorphotos (for color).
Enjoy!
Love these photos, Barb. I’m sold on iPhone photography, too.
Thanks, Reine. Your iPhone photographs of desert landscapes are AMAZING.
Thamk you! xoxox
Absolutely Beautiful!!!
Thanks, Anna.
Wonderfully captured!
Thanks, Calla.
Wonderful! Please thank Bill for his gorgeous photos 🙂 –kate
Will do!
The photographs really are wonderful!
Thanks, Michael!
You didn’t have to invite me to check out Bill’s photos twice! I’m waiting for the coffee table book.
🙂
The pictures are amazing. Love the third one- it reminds me of a scene in the 1800’s -a schooner coming home after a long journey. The tugboat looks more like a painting than a photo..
Please thank for Bill for sharing.
Happy Fourth to All.
I know. The third and fourth ones evoke the feeling of standing on the shore in the era of sail and seeing one of these beauties glide into port.
Great photos! Yes, they would be very different with a sunny sky and sparkling water.
And today, of course, the sun is shining. Fireworks tonight!
Great work!
Bob
Thanks, Bob. That means a lot coming from you.
Truly amazing! What a wonderful eye. If only I had room on my walls for more pictures…
🙂
Amazing. The last one looks like a painting.
I think so, too.
Great shots!
Thanks, Bruce.
Thanks to everyone for the wonderful comments. Glad you enjoyed the photos. Maine provides so many great opportunities to get good shots.
Hi Barb and Bill!!! These are incredible photos of a beautiful place. I am waving hi to you on this Fourth of July week end from NJ. I find Maine to be lovely in so many ways, and I am really reconsidering my dreams of moving West to moving North.. I hope it’s sunny and gorgeous up there.
